Kalm collection
The Kalm collection consists of a series of high-backed armchairs with a matching footstool (cross base). Choose from active seating (Kalm) or lounge seating (Kalm Comfort).

Kalm Comfort personalisation options
Choose from two types of bases: Kalm Comfort with a swiveling steel cross base or Kalm Comfort with a wooden 4-legged base.

Construction
Kalm Comfort is an upholstered high armchair where the semi-circular shell of the back and arm sections are attached to the underside of the seat cushion. The Kalm's internal metal wire frame is covered with moulded foam and has extra soft padding on the seat.

Seat height
44 cm as standard.

Upholstery
Choose from an extensive programme of high-quality fabrics and leather in a wide variety of colours.
Kalm Comfort is upholstered with a flat trim on the edge of its shell as standard.

Finishes base
The steel cross base is finished in powder coat. The wooden 4-legged base has an oil finish.

Kalm Comfort family
In form language, the Kalm family fits well with designer Patrick Norguet's Jima and Zuma chair series.

Designed by Patrick Norguet

Norguet (1969, France) made his breakthrough as a designer at the end of the nineteen-nineties. With his sense of colour, formal restraint and elegant purity coupled with character and his continual search for comfort, it’s not surprising that he started designing for Artifort in 2002. In this year he designed the characteristic Apollo armchair followed by various successful pieces. Various museums around the world have included products designed by him in their collections. Norguet is also celebrated for designing high-end offices, the Okko hotels and the McDonalds restaurant on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. In 2014, GQ Magazine voted him ‘Designer of the Year 2014’.
