Sustainability

Artifort wishes to minimize the environmental impact of its activities, products and services. Future generations depend on it, and this is very important to us as a family business. The sustainable production of the Artifort is based on the following pillars:

REUSE AND REUPHOLSTERY

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS

LIMITING CO2 EMISSIONS

Artifort strives for a circular economy in which materials are reused as much as possible in order to limit greenhouse gas emissions. We do this by re-upholstering furniture, recycling waste materials and producing furniture with longevity.

In the production of its furniture, Artifort uses as many sustainable materials as possible and places high demands on these materials. Fabrics with the EU Ecolabel or the Ökotex standard 100 label, PEFC or FSC certified wood and powder coating instead of chrome are some examples.

Sustainable production also involves limiting CO2 emissions. Artifort produces all its furniture and parts in its own production locations in Schijndel and Lanaken. At Artifort we also choose local suppliers and various other measures to limit CO2 emissions.
