Where historic architecture meets new connections and contemporary use
A historic setting, a new cultural destination. Huis 73 brings together design, education and community in the heart of ’s-Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands), creating a dynamic environment where different activities and generations meet.
The interior connects the richness of the original architecture with a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. Warm natural materials, light-toned woods and carefully selected colours complement the monumental surroundings while supporting the building’s diverse functions.
The Artifort Moulin and Moulin Lounge chairs add another layer to this interplay of old and new. Pierre Paulin’s iconic designs combine expressive, rounded silhouettes with inviting comfort. From focused reading to informal gatherings and moments of relaxation, the chairs adapt effortlessly to the many ways Huis 73 is used throughout the day. Their sculptural presence brings a distinctive Artifort character to the interior, while their timeless design feels naturally at home within this historic setting.
