In a world where responsibility and the transition to a more sustainable future go hand in hand, Artifort is committed to preserving and extending the lifespan of furniture. Refurbishing and reupholstering high-quality pieces offers a sustainable solution that meets today’s environmental demands.

With its in-house service store, the Artifort Shop (established in 2018), Artifort offers interior professionals a comprehensive service for repairing, restoring, or partially renewing existing Artifort furniture in public and contract environments. Combining advanced techniques with the craftsmanship and experience of Artifort’s skilled specialists, project furniture is carefully restored or reupholstered in the Artifort atelier - reviving each piece to its original quality and design intent.

The architectural firm HEYLIGERS architects recently had 39 Little Tulip chairs reupholstered in a luxurious blue velvet fabric for the Theater & Congress Orpheus in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. By choosing to reupholster rather than replace, they preserved the chairs’ comfort while giving them a fresh, new look - significantly extending their lifespan.
