French designer Patrick Norguet is acclaimed throughout the world for combining an exquisite sense of context with a continuous quest for comfort. All of his work reflects a preference for elegant simplicity. Norguet’s latetest design for Artifort is the Moon armchair. A design that emphasizes the notion of comfort, art and a progressive character.
Moon’s design evokes the phenomenon of weightlessness by means of imposing, compelling design language and a delicate, colourful base. An inviting, high-backed armchair that catches the eye in any interior. Thanks to its comfortable, luxurious appearance and an ergonomic seating experience, Moon transitions seamlessly between a variety of spaces, from lobby reception areas, libraries, hotels and offices, to your own home. Sit. Converse. Wait. Read. This seat is modern art that provides a feeling of security and relaxation.
Creativity enables change. It gives you the strength to experiment, refine and search for the ideal solution. It means looking at an object from new perspective. And being persistent, because that’s truly brings inspiration to life. Also designer Patrick Norguet went on a creative journey while designing his new design Moon. Art Director Khodi Feiz spoke with Norguet during the launch of Moon at Salone del Mobile in Milan and asked him a few questions about his design process.
