Paco is available in several versions: a 4-legged steel base, a 4-legged steel base on castors, a sled base or a swiveling height-adjustable 5-legged base on castors.

Extensive programme of colours and fabrics, both in fabric and leather.

The base is finished in powder coat or chrome.

Option: upholstery of the backside of the armrest in a contrasting colour. A contrasting colour in leather is only possible when the chair is upholstered in leather.


- 4-legged base: the metal base is finished in powder coat or chrome.
- 4-legged base with castors (soft): the metal base is finished in powder coat or chrome.
- Sled base: het metal base is finished in powder coat or chrome.
- Height-adjustable, swiveling 5-legged base with castors: the metal base is finished in powder coat or in polished aluminum. The gas spring and castor caps are always in chrome.

Designed by Gerard Vollenbrock

Gerard Vollenbrock (1949) lives and works in Arnhem and on the Greek island of Serifos. He studied graphic design at the Academy of Art and Industry in Enschede, and fine art at the Academy of Art in Arnhem. He has been working as a furniture designer since 1984 but in the period 1987-1992, he also taught furniture and interior design at the Minerva Academy in Groningen. His designs have been included in the collections of Gelderland, Castelijn, Leolux, Lande and Linteloo, among others. In 2009, Artifort introduced his chair Paco. Vollenbrock's motto is "clear simplicity in an elegant form”. His designs are largely determined by his mastery of the use of form, space and materials. Thanks to this, his designs remain eminently attractive and fit perfectly into the tradition of Dutch Design.
