"I am the living proof of sustainability. My husband and I bought the Oyster chair and Orange Slice® at furniture store “Lodewijks” in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) in 1961. At that time, this was the place to go if you wanted something different. The chairs have been the eye catchers of my living room because they are timeless. Initially the Orange Slice® was upholstered in a black sky leather, later I had them both reupholstered. Today I can hardly get up from the Oyster chair anymore, but when I have guests I often sit in the Orange Slice®. I can sit in it all day long. I would like to have the Orange Slice® reupholstered in its original colour orange again so it becomes a real orange again. I will never get rid of my Artifort chairs as I still love them today. "
