"As you can see in the photograph  I am sitting in the Artifort Oyster chair and on the side table is a picture of me (as a baby) and my dad and ..... the chair. The chair is more than 50 years old and my father bought it in the early 60s from his first salary. I grew up with the chair and when I left my parental home to live on my own, I was delighted when I was allowed to take the chair with me! Two years ago my father passed away and in honour of him I decided to have the chair reupholstered again (for the 3rd time!) but this time in its original colour: petrol blue. The chair is a real eyecatcher in our living room, a love for life and a tribute to my father!"
